About me

My name is Henrik Rydberg and I live in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2008, I started a sole proprietorship, Hrhantverk, because I was then publishing instruction books for diatonic harmonica. At the same time, I had been working with woodworking as a hobby in the later part of my adult life and it became the main focus of Hrhantverk. I started with knife handles and eventually moved on to trying out pens, earrings, pipes, and boxes, among other things.

Since 2018, my focus has almost entirely shifted to carving figures in different sizes and shapes, many of which are staged in imaginative and sometimes quirky situations. To bring these characters to life even more, I collaborate with my daughter Kim, who colors them based on her aesthetic abilities.
